Let AI Handle Your Busywork
Helping Colorado-based businesses leverage the power of AI and Automation to simplify workflows, minimize repetitive tasks, and save valuable time.
Based in Denver, CO
Who I am…
Hi, I’m Tom, founder of Lumio Consulting.
I help Colorado-based businesses with AI training and adoption — from early experimentation to practical, scalable implementation.
My work focuses on turning AI from a buzzword into a real business advantage through hands-on training, clear strategy, and well-integrated tools that reduce friction, save time, and improve how teams work day to day.
Before launching Lumio, I spent nearly two decades in enterprise IT, working with organizations ranging from small businesses and public-sector institutions to Fortune 100 companies. That experience shapes how I approach AI today: practical, business-first, and grounded in how teams actually operate.
I believe AI works best when it supports people — not when it adds complexity.

How I work…
I take a collaborative, hands-on approach to every project.
Most business owners know AI could save them time — they just don’t know where to start. My job is to make that simple, practical, and aligned with your real business goals.
We’ll explore where AI can help, choose the right focus for your needs, and keep improving as your business grows.
1. Start with Discovery
We’ll dive into how your business runs, your goals, and where time gets wasted.
By the end, you’ll have clear ideas for where AI or automation can make the biggest impact.
2. Choose Your Focus
Depending on what you need most, we’ll tailor next steps — whether that’s AI training, a discovery workshop, or workflow design and implementation.
3. Grow with Support
Once your foundation is in place, I can stay involved as a fractional AI partner — helping you scale what works, explore new tools, and keep your systems running smoothly.

Everything you need to know…

$100/hr to start, but there’s a catch - if you’re not happy, you don’t pay. Prices may increase as we build trust and work on larger projects, but all new clients start at $100/hr.
-
I charge an hourly rate for my time onsite, along with prep time and follow-up time if necessary. But in short, you only pay for whatever time you need.
-
I primarily work with small to mid-sized businesses here in Colorado, and I generally prefer a hands-on, in-person approach. That said, I do take on remote clients when it makes sense. If you think I might be able to help your business, feel free to reach out—I'm always happy to see if it's a good fit.
-
I primarily work with clients in the Denver metro area, but it’s not exclusive; if you’re a small business and need help with AI or automation, please feel free to get in touch and we’ll see if it’s a good fit!

Not at all, my focus is on strategy, training, tool selection, and automation. Strategy sessions often result in a need or desire for some level of automation; I can do build those automations for you, or make recommendations if you decide to work with a dedicated platform specialist.
-
This is up to you, if you’re technical or have technical people on staff, I can train and/or hand off any automations we build. If you prefer that I stay engaged and maintain your system, we can set that up as well. Tech skills optional.
-
It depends on the complexity of what we’re building, but most systems go live within 5 to 10 business days. You’ll get quick wins fast — without waiting months for results.
-
You’ll never be left hanging. If a system fails or breaks, I get notified immediately and will jump in to fix it before it causes any headaches.
-
Many clients prefer Slack, but I’m flexible. Phone, email, text are all fine. We can also schedule weekly check-ins if you want hands-on collaboration, or keep it light-touch if you just want updates as things get done.
